I only run from cops, but those who run for fun and competition are flocking to San Juan Marathon, held in early June every year on beautiul San Juan Island. Founded in 2004 by a local running fanatic, the course has gained certification so you can qualify for the Boston Marathon or the Olympic Trials by running the San Juan Marathon.
